Dr Sourav Roy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Centre for Big Synergy (CBS). 

As a sustainability advocate and thought leader, Sourav has a wide range of experience.

During his career, he has worked at King’s College London as an award-winning neuroscientist discovering potential therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease, started the biggest sustainability film festival, organised microplastic pollution awareness programmes that aimed to reach a billion children and their families and recommended changes to UK’s sustainability and education policy that has impacted 16 million children.

In addition to this, Sourav has also advised multinational corporations alongside being a broadcaster, keynote speaker and author. #

His vast experience highlights his passion and commitment to sustainability.

Since Co-Founding CBS in 2018, the organisation has helped more than 250 million people in more than 120 countries globally.

Sourav has also managed many SDGs projects alongside business, policy, sustainability, policy and media leaders.

Soura’s expertise as a speaker, moderator, presenter and broadcaster has seen him appear at COPs, high-level circular economy forums and large forums that were centred on AI, health, food and agriculture, sustainability in technology.

As well as this, he has also engaged with advanced scientific panels and presentations for significant healthcare giants, has hosted podcasts for worldwide sustainability pioneers and has worked on sustainability literacy and sustainability awareness-creating camps for adults and children.

With over 25 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, leadership, diversity and management, Javette Hines is the Director, SC Supplier Senior Group Manager and Global Head of Supply Chain Development, Inclusion and Sustainability at Citi.

In her role, Javette is at the forefront of Citi’s work to enhance the inclusion and consideration of diverse firms in the company’s sourcing practice.

Javette works across the organisation to ensure that their global strategy is aligned with their supplier selection. By doing this, she can continue to spend US$1bn with diverse suppliers across the world to enhance understanding of ESG matters and support supplier development and capacity. 

Citi has recently been inducted into the Billion Dollar Roundtable (BDR).

Javette has acquired an impressive selection of certificates across her career, including as a Certified Professional Suppler Diversity (CPSD) from the Institute of Supply Management, a certificate in Human Rights from the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice, a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell and a certificate in Leading Effective Decision Making from the Yale School of Management.

She became a Doctor of Law at the Wake Forest University School of Law and studied a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from Clark Atlanta University.

Javette is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association and was recently sworn in as a member of the bar, Supreme Court of the United States.

Jim Rottman, Former Global Head of Culture and Inclusion at Volvo Cars

With more than 25 years of multinational and multicultural experience in changing organisational cultures and catalysing greater strategic workforce initiatives, Jim Rottman was the Former Global Head of Culture and Inclusion at Volvo Cars.

In this role, he successfully drove cultural transformation that resulted in the company’s diversity ranking significantly improving from 97th to 16th among 850 European companies in the Financial Times' 2024 assessment.

Throughout his career, Jim has acquired experience in diversity and inclusion, leadership development, organisational design and talent acquisition. 

After leaving Volvo ,Jim founded Rottman Consulting. Through this new venture, he aims to craft partnerships with businesses and share his extensive range of expertise to allow them to understand the evolving world of work and the complex challenges you can face.

In addition to this, Jim aims to craft ethical leaders that utilise diverse perspectives to create a better tomorrow for their business.

Jim is recognised through his data-driven approach to HR, integrating analytics with deep human insight in order to produce significant results for businesses.

He consistently integrates his deep understanding of organisational dynamics with data-driven strategies to make businesses thrive in the evolving landscape.

Recently, Jim was nominated for Inspiring Global Inclusion Leadership. In his work, Jim strives to shape resilient, sustainable and forward-thinking organisational cultures. 

Jim previously received Roche’s Innovation Award for his work at Roche/Genentech and American Express and has a Master’s in Organizational Development and an Executive Master's in Software Design.

Fabiana Cumia, Communications & ESG Director at Rakuten TV

Fabiana Cumia, Communications & ESG Director at Rakuten TV

Fabiana Cumia is the Communications & ESG Director at Rakuten TV. In her role, Fabiana manages the sustainability and PR activities of Rakuten TV across Europe. 

For 20 years, Fabiana has worked in the tech and entertainment sectors for renowned companies such as Publicis, Mosaicoon, Mindshare and NBC Universal Global Networks.

Throughout her career, she has held several sustainability, communication and DE&I roles at a global level between APAC and Europe.

Fabiana is an expert on DEI and is an active activist for campaigns in the defense of human and civil rights.  

She co-leads the DE&I area of the association for gender equality in entertainment Women in Film, Television and Media, where she is also a board member.

Within her experience in no-profit, she also contributed to the birth and internationalization of the NGO Mediterranea Saving Humans and she is part of Prime Minister, gender equality project for empowering young women.
