What’s Happening in Sustainability in 2025?
The year 2025 will bring 8 global Sustainability LIVE events, 18 awards and 12 issues of Sustainability Magazine.
January
The year’s first issue of Sustainability Magazine is live with cover stars Kristen Siemen, Vice President Sustainable Workplaces and Chief Sustainability Officer at General Motors, Nina Eisenman, Vice President and Head of Corporate ESG Strategy and Reporting at NASDAQ, Christina Shim, Chief Sustainability Officer at IBM, and Jennifer Motles, Chief Sustainability Officer at Philip Morris International.
These leaders gathered at Sustainability LIVE Climate Week NYC 2024 to discuss the realities of being a woman working in sustainability.
February
On 20 February 2025 Sustainability LIVE Malta will take place at the Mediterranean Conference Centre. This networking and learning event will host speakers including Gerard Gallagher, EMEIA Sustainability Leader at EY and Gaia Arzilli, International Director at AWorld.
March
Sustainability LIVE: Net Zero will take over the QEII Centre in London on 5 and 6 March 2025.
Co-located with Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE: Sustainability, this event offers a comprehensive exploration of supply chain sustainability and Scope 3 emissions.
Speakers include Tom Byrne, Head of Net Zero and Environment at British Airways, and Darshana Myronidis, Group Sustainability Director at Virgin.
Sustainability LIVE Singapore will take place on 18 March 2025, featuring a dynamic programme of keynote speeches and expert panel discussions. This leading virtual event is tailored for sustainability and ESG executives from large-scale organisations across the APAC region.
April
Sustainability LIVE Dubai, a cutting-edge virtual conference tailored to the MEA region, will take place on 22 April 2025.
Attendees will explore critical topics such as achieving net-zero targets, implementing effective ESG strategies and advancing sustainable business practices.
May
Sustainability LIVE Chicago is set to take place on 28 and 29 May 2025 at Convene Willis Tower with more than 30 internationally acclaimed speakers. The event is co-located with Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE and Manufacturing LIVE.
On 2 May 2025, entries for the Global Sustainability and ESG Awards close ahead of final judging across 18 prestigious categories on 12 May. Judges for the awards include Adam Elman, Head of Sustainability at Google EMEA, and Professor Paolo Taticchi, OMRI Professor of Strategy and Sustainability & School Deputy Director at UCL School of Management.

The 2025 Global Sustainability and ESG Awards shortlist will be announced in June ahead of the awards ceremony in September.
September
Sustainability LIVE London returns for 2025 on 9 and 10 September at the Business Design Centre. This major sustainability event will host more than 40 speakers across two conference stages for more than 2,000 attendees.
On 10 September 2025, the Global Sustainability and ESG Awards ceremony will be hosted at 8 Northumberland Ave, London. This black tie event will highlight excellence in sustainability across 18 prestigious categories.

On 11 November 2025, Sustainability LIVE: Diversity and Inclusion returns to highlight and develop the connection between sustainable development and D&I initiatives.
