Helen Milner, CEO of Good Things Foundation

Helen Milner is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Good Things Foundation, a worldwide digital inclusion charity that aims to create a world in which everyone can benefit from digital. 

The charity, which was founded as a staff-led mutual charity in the UK in 2011, works with thousands of hyper-local community partners to ensure that everyone can experience the benefits of digital technologies and the internet.

With over 30 years of experience in creating, working in and leading internet-based organisations in public, private, charity and academic sectors, Helen has delivered innovation and systems change at scale 

In June 2015, Helen was awarded an OBE for services to digital inclusion in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. 

She has also received several prestigious awards, including being named Digital Leader of the Year (UK) in 2017, being named the 14th most influential person in UK IT in 2020 by Computer Weekly, being named Internet Hero of the Year by ISPA in 2021 and received an honorary Doctor of Letters from the University of Sheffield in 2024. 

Helen is the Chair of the environmental charity Subak and is on the Money and Pension Services’ Board Advisory Group.

At Sustainability LIVE London 2024, the 'Diversity & Inclusion Panel' featured Felizitas Lichtenberg, Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and Sustainability at SumUp and Brett Dryden, Diversity and Inclusion OD Partner at Bauer Media.

At Sustainability LIVE: Diversity & Inclusion, Helen will feature on ‘The Impact of AI on Diversity & Inclusion’ panel alongside Sourav Roy, CEO of the Centre for Big Synergy, Peter Mouseriadis, Founder & CEO of Cultural Infusion and Adam Karrnama, Founder of Spritju.
