Alyson Freeman, Director of Innovation, Corporate Sustainability & ESG at Dell Technologies, will speak on the panel at Sustainability LIVE.
Alyson leads the creation and communication of the sustainability and ESG product offerings roadmap for Dell, using insights to help innovate products and business models.
She works directly with customers and partners on sustainability and ESG opportunities and challenges.
Dellâs products are designed for circularity and recyclability.
It focuses on durable design, as well as making its products easier to repair and upgrade to extend product lifespan.
It uses recycled, renewable and low emissions materials in its products and packaging to reduce waste.
Valgroupâs circular strategy
Joining the panel is Larissa Ogera DâOtaviano, Sustainability Director at Valgroup.
She leads strategic initiatives that transform waste into valuable resources, helping to contribute to the reduction of environmental impact.
Her priority is to build a greener, more sustainable future, by promoting innovation through the value chain.
She says: “At Valgroup, we have well-established mechanical recycling operations and, this year, we also launched our proprietary chemical recycling technology, which has been an important step in advancing our circular strategy.”
Minimising plastic use
Brijesh Krishnan, Director, Environmental Sustainability and Compliance Strategy at Cummins will also be speaking on the Circularity & Recycling panel.
He leads the company’s strategy to address evolving regulations and customer requirements.
His work focuses on corporate sustainability reporting, supply chain sustainability, decarbonisation and the circular economy.
Cumminsâ sustainability strategy, Destination Zero, aims to help the business and its customers navigate the energy transition.
This involves achieving zero waste growth and minimising single-use plastics in its facilities and operations.
Brijesh is helping the company on its journey towards designing out waste in products and processes and using materials again, with lifecycle plans for its new products.
