Meet the speakers
Ăistein Jensen, Chief Sustainability Officer, Odfjell SE
Øistein was appointed to his current role in 2020, as part of Odfjell’s broader commitment to sustainability.
He has a wide range of experience in naval leadership, management consulting, corporate governance and shipping.
Odfjell’s strategy is to be a leading logistics service provider for customers across the world through the safe and efficient operation of deep-sea and regional chemical tankers.
Øistein says: “I believe the greatest risk to both climate and nature is the assumption that someone else will solve the problem for us.
“Climate risk is not a distant or abstract issue – it is a material risk to people, the planet and to business performance itself.
“Framing it purely as a compliance matter misses the point.”
