Sustainability LIVE: The London Summit is set to take place on 8-9 September 2026 at QEII Centre, Westminster.
The two-day hybrid conference is a stage for senior sustainability executives at the forefront of climate action and ESG transformation.
With more than 1,000 attendees, it provides the insights, connections and solutions needed to accelerate progress towards net zero.
Co-located with Supply Chain LIVE and Procurement LIVE, the event provides an opportunity to collaborate with leaders across functions.
Gain insights on circularity
The Circularity & Recycling panel will take place on 9 September at 12:15-13:00 (BST) on the Sustainability Stage.
It explores how circular economy principles are transforming the way we produce and consume products.
The panel discussion examines strategies for designing out waste, scaling recycling infrastructure and creating closed-loop systems that generate both environmental and economic value.
Meet the speakers
Matt Manning, Head of Sustainability at BT Group
Matt has been working in the sustainability field for more than 12 years, currently leading sustainability at BT Group.
Here, he provides strategic direction on a wide range of sustainability topics, leading change programmes, driving strategy integration, amplifying progress and stakeholder engagement.
Before working at BT Group, Matt worked at a leading UK retailer across multiple roles, covering waste and resource management, sustainability and climate action.

Perrine Froger, Head of Strategy & Enablement - Sustainability & Social Business Innovation at Merck Group
Perrine is part of the Life Science business of Merck, a US$11bn global science and technology company which is committed to enhancing the human experience through curiosity and sustainability.
In her role, she works closely with sustainability and commercial teams to help embed sustainability across the organisation and strengthen meaningful connections with customers and the scientific community.
Since joining Merck in 2001, Perrine has worked closely with scientists across France and Western Europe.
Perrine says: “I’m looking forward to Sustainability LIVE because circularity and recycling rely on collaboration and this event is a great place for practical, solution-focused conversations.
“I’m especially excited to discuss how we can grow circular systems in ways that make sense both scientifically and in real-world operations. It takes new ideas across the value chain to close material loops and hearing how others are meeting these challenges is always inspiring.”
Catherine Russell, Head of Sustainability at VodafoneThree
Catherine began her career as a solicitor, after achieving a law degree.
She started working at Vodafone in 2012, joining the company as a Counsel.
She worked her way up to Lead Counsel - Enterprise in 2015, before moving into sustainability in 2017.
Catherine had held multiple sustainability positions at Vodafone and VodafoneThree, including Senior Corporate Sustainability Manager, Sustainable Business Lead and Head of Sustainable Business.
Rahul Nene, Head - Global Sustainability CoE at Huhtamaki
Rahul is a sustainability professional with 13 years of work experience in the field.
He has previously led sustainability programmes in L'Óreal and is currently heading the Group Sustainability at Huhtamaki.
He is a mechanical engineer with a post graduate degree in sustainability management.
Rahul says: “I am looking forward to sharing experiences from our company and sector and also learn from peers working on similar challenges in other sectors and organisations.
“Sustainability needs cross-organisational partnerships and such events help develop them and that is what excites me the most.”
