Inside Schneider Electricâs 2025 Q2 Impact Report

Energy management Schneider Electric is a company known for its sustainability prowess – it has been recognised by TIME, Statista and Sustainability Magazine as the most sustainable company in the world, and shows no signs of slowing.
The French multinational’s Q2 2025 report highlights how every element of the company is underpinned by its two guiding principles:

“Our Q2 2025 Schneider Sustainability Impact results are out, and they show what’s possible when purpose meets action,” shares Esther Finidori, Chief Sustainability Officer at Schneider Electric.
- “We’ve now trained over 1 million people in energy management, empowering communities in more than 60 countries with the skills to actively participate in the energy transition.
- “Building on this momentum, we’ve crossed the bar of 700 million tonnes of COâ saved and avoided for our customers since 2018, a testament to the impact of our innovative energy solutions.
- “At the same time, we’ve seen a 48% COâ emissions reduction across our top 1,000 suppliers, driven by a more resilient and collaborative supply chain.
- “And 79% of our suppliers now meet our Decent Work standards, promoting fair labour practices and strengthening social equity across our ecosystem.

Highlights from Scheiderâs 2025 so far
This quarter, Schneider Electric achieved an SSI score of 8.06 out of 10, highlighting impactful momentum across all sustainability pillars.
The companyâs efforts continue to resonate globally, underlined by its accolade from TIME and Statista as the Worldâs Most Sustainable Company for the second consecutive year â a recognition quickly following its designation as Europeâs Most Sustainable Corporation by Corporate Knights.
Emphasising green skills
Schneider Electric hit a major achievement by surpassing its goal of training one million people in energy management. This education initiative â active in more than 60 countries and aligned with World Youth Skills Day 2025 â empowers underserved groups with critical technical and entrepreneurial skills demanded for the ongoing energy transition.
Through its Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Program, the company is preparing a new generation to actively drive sustainability, furthering its mission of inclusive innovation.
“With six months to go in our 2021–2025 SSI program, we remain focused on delivering on our purpose: to empower all to make the most of our energy and resources, bridging progress and sustainability for all,” says Esther.
Emission reduction
The company’s positive impact extends to climate action and business performance. Schneider Electric solutions helped customers surpass 734 million tonnes of COâ emissions saved and avoided since 2018, crossing the key 700 million tonne threshold.
These results spotlight the transformational role of digitalisation and electrification in achieving tangible emissions reductions.
Financially, Schneider Electric reported Q2 revenues of €10.01bn (US$11.6bn), reflecting an 8.3% organic growth, and reaffirmed its FY25 targets. Major contributors included double-digit growth in Energy Management and strong advances in software, digital services and field services, especially in expanding markets such as India and the Asia-Pacific region.
