Meet Stephanie Greene, Cushman & Wakefieldâs New Global CSO

Cushman & Wakefield is one of the worldâs largest commercial real estate services firms, operating across 60 countries with approximately 52,000 employees.
It has announced Stephanie Greene as its new Chief Sustainability Officer and Global Head of Sustainability Services.
She brings more than 20 years of experience across real estate, energy and sustainability to her new role.
Stephanieâs career history
After achieving a degree in Earth Systems, Environmental Science, Economics and Policy from Stanford University, Stephanie began her career at BSR as an Associate for Advisory Services.
At BSR, she developed skills in ESG management, working with Fortune 500 companies to develop corporate sustainability strategies.
In 2012, Stephanie joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company, working in electric vehicles, renewable energy, energy policy and planning.
She became a Director for Electric Vehicles Strategy and Policy and a Director for Energy Procurement.
After seven years at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Stephanie joined RMI, where she focused on building electrification and carbon-free buildings.
She led a 70-person carbon-free buildings team, working on policy, electrification, retrofit acceleration and portfolio solutions.
Most recently, Stephanie worked at CBRE, joining the company in 2023.
Up until December 2025, she held the role of Global Head of Sustainability Advisory - Senior Managing Director, where she built and scaled a revenue-generating advisory platform.

Cushman & Wakefieldâs wider leadership
In her new position, Stephanie will work under Cushman & Wakefieldâs CEO, Michelle MacKay.
Michelle oversees the global business and all its operations.
She previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer, where she led the firmâs EMEA region.
She has previously worked at iStar, UBS, JP Morgan and The Hartford Financial Services Group.
Michelle first joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2018 as a member of its Board of Directors.
She has more than 30 years of experience as a commercial real estate executive, with expertise in unlocking value for real estate assets and companies.
Upon her appointment to CEO in 2023, Michelle said: “I’m looking forward to leading this great firm through its next chapter of strategic growth.
