Schneider Electric's EcoVadis Sustainable Procurement Award

Business leaders implementing sustainable operational changes are being recognised by EcoVadis for their exceptional commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
The global marketplace is characterised by heightened sustainability awareness and evolving consumer expectations.
Companies featured in these awards have shown exceptional performance in sustainable procurement leadership and operational transparency.
EcoVadis operates as an information services company committed to embedding sustainability intelligence throughout business decision-making processes.
Companies across various scales utilise its trusted ratings to achieve ESG regulatory compliance and emissions reduction.
Through its ratings, risk management, carbon tools and e-learning platform, the organisation supports businesses in developing resilient growth models capable of generating positive global impacts.
The platform enables organisations to measure, monitor and improve their sustainability performance across environmental, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement criteria.
The company reveals the recipients of its 10th annual Sustainability Achievement Awards at the EcoVadis Sustain 2026 conference held in Paris.
These accolades honour organisations implementing robust procurement programmes and individuals spearheading sustainability initiatives within their companies.
Pierre-François Thaler, co-founder and co-CEO of EcoVadis, explains: "This year's winners demonstrate that sustainable procurement is no longer about policy, it's about performance.
"From bold transparency and human rights integration to scaling impact across global supply networks, these leaders are proving that sustainability, when embedded into core business strategy, becomes a powerful driver of resilience and long-term value. We are proud to celebrate their leadership and the measurable impact they are creating."
Four primary categories comprise the awards structure: Best Mature Program in Sustainable Procurement, Best New Program in Sustainable Procurement, Outstanding Program Management and Outstanding Sustainability Leadership.
Each category reflects different aspects of sustainability excellence, from established programmes to emerging initiatives and individual contributions.
Recognising established procurement excellence
The Best Mature Program in Sustainable Procurement category acknowledges sustained leadership and continuous innovation, recognising programmes demonstrating depth, quantifiable impact and cross-functional integration.
Schneider Electric secured this honour through its mature, scalable and consistent sustainable procurement approach.
The company's supplier roadmap combines with public disclosure practices to illustrate how leadership can be embedded throughout global operations.
Particular recognition went to Schneider's integration of sustainable procurement into fundamental business processes, supported by accountability through public commitments.
Christophe Quiquempoix, Vice President Sustainable Procurement at Schneider Electric, notes: "This recognition means a great deal to us because it celebrates something fundamental to who we are – our belief that sustainable procurement is essential to build a better future."
Emerging programme innovation
The Best New Program in Sustainable Procurement award acknowledges newly launched initiatives demonstrating potential for lasting impact, strong internal alignment and supplier activation.
Siegwerk received this accolade for its strategy emphasising sustainable operational depth beyond basic compliance requirements.
Human rights have been established as a fundamental pillar within its customer applications.
Transparency defines the programme, with the company openly addressing complex supplier challenges whilst engaging suppliers in collaborative improvement initiatives.
Cathleen Hansohm, Global Supplier Sustainability Manager at Siegwerk, comments: "Driving sustainability in supply chains has become a business imperative, not only due to customer expectations and legislation, but also because it is one of the most effective ways to build the resilience needed in today's rapidly changing world. By setting the right priorities, Siegwerk is driving real change that goes far beyond reporting or meeting compliance requirements."
Outstanding programme management
The Outstanding Program Management award honours individuals demonstrating visible contributions to initiative advancement.
Vitanya Keary, Global Procurement Sustainability Manager at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, has led the company's EcoVadis implementation since 2018, enhancing collaboration and supplier enablement following post-merger integration.
Her consistent leadership, stakeholder alignment capabilities and effective tool utilisation distinguished her to the EcoVadis team.
Vitanya states: "Honoured to see our work recognised by EcoVadis. This achievement reflects the collective effort of both our internal CCEP teams, as well as our Supply Partners collaborating together to advance sustainable procurement and strengthen responsible practices across our supply chain."
Outstanding sustainability leadership
Filip Orlinski, ESG Director at Caldic BV, received the Outstanding Sustainability Leadership award for advancing sustainable management systems.
Filip earned recognition for his ESG leadership across company operations, delivering Caldic's first comprehensive GHG inventory whilst enhancing governance and transparency.
His contributions included supporting Caldic entities through improved documentation, internal alignment, supplier engagement and corrective action management.
Filip notes: "This recognition is a testament to the dedication and collaboration of our teams across all regions and to the strong partnerships we've built with suppliers and customers. I'm especially proud of our regional ESG leads, who continue to elevate our performance while driving measurable impact at every level of our operations."
As consumer preferences increasingly favour sustainable businesses, these organisations and professionals are cultivating positive brand perception whilst demonstrating strategic resilience.
The awards highlight how sustainability leadership translates into competitive advantage and long-term business value.
