The 250 Worldâs Most Sustainable Companies List 2025 has been unveiled at Sustainability LIVE London 2025, spotlighting the global leaders driving meaningful change in ESG practices.
This annual ranking highlights the corporations setting the benchmark for sustainable growth, innovation and responsibility across industries.
What makes a sustainable company?
This yearâs list celebrates 250 companies that are demonstrating measurable impact in areas including decarbonisation, renewable energy adoption, ethical supply chains, circular economy initiatives and inclusive workplace practices.
By integrating sustainability into the heart of their business models, these organisations are not only addressing climate change but also proving that resilience and profitability can go hand-in-hand.
The Top 250 World's Most Sustainable Companies list ranks companies based on a holistic evaluation of their ESG and strategic sustainability performance. Each company was assessed across the following four key dimensions:
- Environmental impact
- Social responsibility
- Governance and transparency
- Strategy and innovation
For each category, each company was assigned estimated scores out of 100, for a total possible score of 400.
