Dr Kathy Rostokowski, Chief Sustainability Officer at McCormick

In her role, Kathy is responsible for driving a comprehensive purpose-led performance (PLP) approach that embeds environmental stewardship, social responsibility and sustainable practices in our global strategic imperatives and business objectives.

She partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate responsible practices across the business, ensure alignment with global sustainability standards and foster a culture of sustainability. She also leads stakeholder engagement and collaboration with external partners to continually strengthen McCormick’s reputation as a sustainability leader committed to driving positive impacts and delivering industry-leading results.

Kathy joined McCormick in 2021 as Purpose-led Performance Program Director.

Prior to joining McCormick, Kathy served for over eight years at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), managing strategic corporate partnerships, designing large scale on-the-ground development programmes and implementing evaluation efforts to advance sustainable development outcomes.

Kathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Yale University and a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. She completed The Strategic Chief Sustainability Officer Program from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Kathy serves on the Board of Trustees for the Maryland Science Center.

Louise Koch, Group Head of Sustainability at Grundfos

Louise is a global sustainability leader with more than 15 years of experience driving sustainable business development and leadership through strategic foresight,  innovation and cross-sector collaboration.

As Group Head of Sustainability at Grundfos, she spearheads the company's sustainability strategy and deployment across business units and continents. Based in Denmark, she leads a team of committed professionals around the world, driving Grundfos’ sustainability efforts towards the purpose of pioneering solutions to the world’s water and climate challenges and improving quality of life for people. 

This includes driving progress towards Grundfos’ SBTi approved Net Zero goal on carbon emissions, developing and deploying a new water sustainability leadership ambition across the entire value chain, driving circular business development across the product lifecycle, ensuring respect for people and human rights across the value chain, and not least securing a strong foundation of governance, transparency and reporting on progress. 

From 2016 to 2023 Louise developed her sustainable business career in the global tech company Dell Technologies, where she served as Director, Global Sustainability Strategy & Innovation, and was a member of Dell’s global sustainability leadership team. 

Louise holds a Master of Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen. In 2024, Louise was listed amongst the Top 100 Chief Sustainability Officers in Europe and in 2020 amongst the 10 Inspirational CSR Leaders in the Nordics. 

She also holds valuable experience from a range of sustainability partnerships and advisory roles, including servicing as a professional non-executive board member for two growth companies, as well as her membership of Faculty at the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership, the Advisory Board for DTU Center of Absolute Sustainability, and the Danish Government’s Council for Responsible Business Conduct & The Global Goals.

Jessica Hyman, Chief Sustainability Officer at Atlassian

Jessica is responsible for Atlassian’s Climate, Human Rights, Responsible Technology, and Sustainability Governance programmes, as well as the Atlassian Foundation, which drives the company’s philanthropic efforts.

Since joining Atlassian, Jessica has built the company’s climate strategy from the ground up - securing 100% renewable electricity for operations, setting a Science-Based Target to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, and introducing the “Don’t #@!% the Planet” guide to help companies learn from Atlassian’s sustainability journey. She also led the development of Atlassian’s Human Rights program, publishing the company’s first Human Rights Statement and Responsible Technology Principles.

Previously, Jessica led several People team functions at Atlassian, including Strategy, Operations, Communications and Analytics. She serves on the board of Pledge 1% and is an active member of global CSO communities, including the Aspen Leaders Forum and World50.
