What is the green quadrant?

In the Green Quadrant report, Verdantix explains that many firms are moving from compliance-driven approaches to more operational decarbonisation, in order to comply with the changing regulatory landscape.

This shift is calling for more asset-level data collection and management, which can be provided by some of the firms in the top eight, including Cority, Gravity and Schneider Electric.

For example, Cority provides real-time carbon data collection at site level, while Gravity and Schneider Electric can help organisations with integrated energy and carbon management.

Alessandra Leggieri, Senior Analyst at Verdantix, says: “As firms shift from reporting to operational decarbonisation, they need solutions that connect asset-level data, product-level emissions, supply chain information and corporate targets.

“Organisations are prioritising streamlined supplier engagement, stronger automation and platforms that embed sustainability insights into risk and financial decision-making.

“Vendors that invest in agentic AI and deeper automation across products and supply chains will not only deliver more accurate emissions data, but set the pace in supporting firms to actively drive decarbonisation across their value chains.”

How does Sphera lead in the sector?

Sphera was named in the Leader category by Verdantix, which is the highest possible ranking.

It was assessed for its Integrated Sustainability approach that aims to help solve supply chain, product and corporate sustainability challenges.
