Sweep has chosen Freddie House to lead its global expansion as Chief Revenue Officer, supporting big businesses like BlackRock with sustainability

Sustainability platform Sweep is expanding rapidly into new markets and has appointed Freddie House as its Chief Revenue Officer. 

In this new role, he will oversee end-to-end revenue operations including business development, customer success and sales.

About Sweep

Sweep is a sustainability data management platform helping companies to track and report their environmental impact accurately.

It says it can cut reporting time by half using its automated internal control systems and offers services in carbon accounting, ESG tracking and meeting disclosure requirements.

Sweep’s software offers a centralised platform to track carbon and ESG data, manage value chain emissions, meet disclosure requirements and prepare for audits.

As a certified B Corp, Sweep holds itself to high environmental standards alongside helping others to be more sustainable.

It is also an active member of the World Bank’s Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, France Invest and the International Emissions Trading Association.

Freddie’s career so far 

With a BA in Anthropology from Durham University, Sweep’s new CRO began his career at CEB, now part of Gartner. 

At Peakon, he led the European commercial teams from early stage through to its acquisition by Workday.

Freddie joined Sweep in 2023 as VP of Sales.

The company says that “his focus on complex, high-value enterprise companies aligns with Sweep’s positioning as the platform of choice for organisations with ambitious sustainability goals and sophisticated data requirements”.

Sweep’s growth in sustainability

In the five years since Sweep’s founding, it has grown a lot. 

Sweep now has clients on all five continents across the corporate and financial services sectors.

It has been recognised by Verdantix, IDC MarketScape and MEDEF as a leader in sustainability data management and aims to deliver transparent, granular and actionable insights.

Sweep says that Freddie will spearhead the company’s consistent growth in North America where it is already serving customers including Crocs, Travel + Leisure and CH Robinson.

The business says it is also seeing significant traction in APAC. 

Freddie will also continue building strategic partnerships with major consulting firms like KPMG, Deloitte, WSP and Capgemini.

Orange Group chose Sweep to support its sustainability progress in July 2025.

The business has 291 million customers and aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2040
