Job To: Cushman & Wakefield - Head of Sustainability for the UK
Cushman & Wakefield, the global commercial real estate firm, has promoted Megan Such to the position of Head of Sustainability for the UK.
Megan, who will succeed Tony Comber, joined C&W four years ago, and will lead a team responsible for integrating sustainability into all aspects of real estate activity for owners, occupiers and investors across multiple sectors.
She will be based at the company's Yorkshire and North East regional hub in Leeds, UK, and is set to have a national remit.
Her team will provide clients with all manner of sustainability services, including strategy development, compliance management, climate risk assessment, operational performance improvement and impact reporting.
The team is also responsible for delivering accountability services, conducting ESG audits, net zero audits and climate risk assessments for clients.
Tony, who is transitioning to the role of UK Head of Building Engineering Services and Sustainability Lead, has expressed his supreme confidence in Megan's abilities.
“Megan is a strong team leader and talented sustainability adviser, and her new expanded role will allow her to have an even greater impact on clients and colleagues at Cushman & Wakefield,” he says.
Likewise, Megan is excited to take on the new challenge. “I am looking forward to collaborating with colleagues to help our clients unlock sustainability success and support in their pursuit of a sustainable future,” she says.
“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity, and I look forward to building on the teams’ success.”
All in all, this appointment speaks to a reinforcement of Cushman & Wakefield’s sustainability ranks, with eyes set firmly on the net zero finish line.
