What inspired you to get involved in the event?
Within my role, I am deeply passionate about responsible advertising and marketing, but this cannot work in its silo.
Sustainability LIVE London brings together such a wide array of fellow passionate advocates and I'm keen to learn and share as much as I can.
What will your session will focus on?
I will explore a case study in embedding sustainability into your marketing and media plans, demonstrating how a responsible approach is not only better for the planet, but more efficient too.
I will also discuss actionable steps to get started within your own business.
What do you hope to achieve through the event?
Marketing and advertising's power to spread the message of sustainability and drive change is unparalleled.
Advertisers are stepping up to be part of the change we need, but we need even more of this drive and passion.
The scale and severity of the issues demand nothing less.
I aim to challenge attendees to think beyond their ESG strategy and see how they can make an even more impactful and scalable impact by baking sustainability into their advertising and marketing foundations.
What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of sustainability over the next decade?
I can only speak from within my bubble of expertise around marketing, but I can see the importance of carbon measurement and demonstrable reduction on media plans becoming more of a norm.
The more brands and clients ask this of their agencies and partners, the more solutions and innovations will be developed.
