Inside Team Bradyās Sustainable Race to Remove Ocean Plastic

Team Brady, competing in the electric powerboat racing series E1, is taking action to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability through innovative technologies and practices.
The team's RaceBird boats use electric propulsion and foiling technology, aiming to minimise the environmental impact of the sport.
The team has now announced the launch of Race for Change, a platform that unites its team, partners and fans to advance sustainable solutions, promote equal opportunities and protect marine environments.
What is the Race for Change?
The 4ocean Foundation is a Founding Partner of Race for Change and Ocean Cleanup Partner of Team Brady.
Together, the 4ocean Foundation aims to remove 100Kg of plastic waste from the ocean for every point Team Brady earns during the 2025 season.
This unique partnership is set to deliver direct and visible results, undoing the average 100Kg of plastic waste being generated per person each year.
"At Team Brady, we donāt just race to win, we race to lead, and that means driving change both on and off the water,ā says Tom Brady, Team Owner.
āRace For Change is a movement that brings together our team, our partners, and our fans to create real-world impact through the power of sport.
āWith some incredible partners, weāre taking action where it matters most and Iām proud to be at the forefront of it all."
To date, Team Brady has scored 104 points and a total of 42 points available each race weekend.
