SE Advisory Services, Schneider Electric’s new global consulting branch, aims to help businesses solve energy, sustainability and digitalisation challenges

Schneider Electric has launched SE Advisory services, a new global consulting branch to support organisations through “unprecedented complexity” in the business landscape. 

“Rising cost pressures demand new operating models, while AI and digital technologies open possibilities that were not imaginable a few years ago,” explains Steve Wilhite, Executive Vice President, SE Advisory Services.

“Yet for nearly two centuries, Schneider Electric has been a catalyst for progress, leading through industrial and digital revolutions with precision and purpose.”

What is SE Advisory Services?

SE Advisory Services is designed to help businesses solve energy, sustainability and digitalisation challenges. 

Steve says that it is “unique in its integrated, end-to-end approach that spans energy and risk management, decarbonisation, nature-based solutions, operational efficiency and digital transformation”.

The branch brings together thousands of global consultants and technical specialists from across Schneider Electric to carry out this new advisory approach. 

It is backed by the company’s new AI native software solution and aims to strengthen business performance, mitigate risk and build resilience.

Steve Wilhite, previously President of Schneider Electric’s Global Sustainability Business, is leading SE Advisory Services as Executive Vice President. 

Steve began his career working in energy across companies like Duke Energy, FPL and International Paper. 

He joined Schneider Electric in 2011 through its acquisition of Summit Energy where he was President and CEO.

The team he leads has since become one of the most respected global consulting firms, supporting more than 40% of the Fortune 500.

Schneider Electric’s sustainability impact

By 2030, Schneider aims to achieve a 25% absolute carbon reduction across its entire value chain.

It has also committed to becoming net zero across its entire value chain by 2050.

Schneider’s own energy use and product lifecycle impacts are disclosed through its Environmental Data Program covering more than 70% of product turnover.

By the end of 2025 it aims to raise this to 80%.

Schneider has the highest number of Sustainability Lighthouse factories recognised by the World Economic Forum of any company, recognised for industry-leading reductions in Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

Through its programmes tackling energy poverty and inequality, Schneider has provided access to clean electricity for 56 million people around the world. 

It surpassed its target of training a million people in energy management by 2025 and supports youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and vocational skills development in more than 60 countries through its Youth Education and Entrepreneurship programme.
