Sustainability LIVE Net Zero: Sandeep Chandna, Tech Mahindra
Returning to the show, Sandeep Chandna, Chief Sustainability Officer at Tech Mahindra, is a versatile, goal-driven leader with more than 25 years of experience in IT services, infrastructure, and oil and gas industries. Beyond this, Chandna has also worked in the field of corporate sustainability for more than 10 years, leading a diverse group of stakeholders in line with the company’s agenda.
Previously featuring at Sustainability LIVE London, Chandna was particularly interested in the ‘Future of Generative AI’ and he sat alongside Michelle Davies, Global Head of Sustainability at EY Law, and Jillian Moore, Executive of Global Advisory at Avanade, to discuss how generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) will support businesses in achieving their sustainability goals.
“Something that was just thought to be in the future is happening now. From that perspective, how do we bring in technology, and this technology to our [benefit]. Generative AI would really help us.”
Backing the world with its greatest technologies
Tech Mahindra leads with purpose and is driven to implement environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into the world through various applications. The company’s efforts can be seen through business, motorsport and other innovative efforts like drone reforestation.
Chandna leads this for the company and has previously featured with Sustainability Magazine to discuss some of the key ways in which the business is driving change.
Chandna understands that the coronavirus pandemic had a major impact on the world we see today, but believes that technology is at the forefront of truly sustainable evolution. As a result, he joins us at the inaugural net-zero-focused conference to discuss this in front of the Sustainability LIVE Net Zero audience.
