Sustainability LIVE: Malta welcomes Gabriella Borda, Advisor and Trainer for Sustainable Development at FinanceMalta
Gabriella Borda MSc, B.Com (Hons) is a visiting lecturer within the Department of Insurance and Risk Management, Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy at the University of Malta.
She has also authored several short courses and workshops focused on sustainable development and climate change issues.
Gabriella’s research interests include issues related to governance and sustainable development.
In 2023, Gabriella was appointed as the Country Chair for the G100's Smart and Sustainable Cities Wing, an organisation committed to promoting equality, progress and inclusivity for women globally.
The wing Gabriella represents focuses on advancing urban development through technology and innovation to enhance residents' quality of life while prioritising environmental sustainability.
Gabriella delivers consultancy on the application of the ESG framework and applies her knowledge and forward-thinking approach to lead projects in climate and sustainable finance.
Her specialisation includes greenhouse gas emissions, inventory reviews and capacity building.
She utilises her extensive experience advising diverse industry sectors locally and internationally to provide guidance on several sustainable development strategies.
