Sustainability LIVE @ Climate Week New York  will be held at the Javits Center. This New York City icon is conveniently located in Manhattan’s West Side neighbourhood, Hudson Yards — the newest center for business in NYC and rooted in the vibrancy and spirit of the city.

At Javits Center, sustainability has become a critical focus in an effort to improve the quality of life for its employees, visitors, surrounding neighborhood and ecosystem. In collaboration with several leading organizations in sustainability and energy, Javits Center is working to create responsible practices to maximize its impact on the environment. As a part of its investment in sustainability, the facility has installed a one-acre rooftop farm, as well as a rooftop orchard and greenhouse, along with a host of other sustainable upgrades. This builds on Javits Center’s efforts to transform the convention center into a wildlife haven and leader in energy conservation. As a result of its comprehensive sustainable initiatives, the facility's annual energy consumption has been reduced by an annual average of 26%.
