LCAW: Boosting Water Positivity & Sustainable Supply Chains

As organisations face increasing pressure to build resilience against climate change, resource scarcity and geopolitical uncertainty, sustainability is becoming a core business priority rather than a standalone initiative.
From protecting vital water resources to transforming global supply networks, companies are recognising that environmental and social challenges are deeply connected to long-term business success.
These critical issues will take centre stage at Sustainability LIVE @ London Climate Action Week – The Leadership Summit, in association with Philip Morris International, which takes place on 25 June 2026 at CodeNode London.
Bringing together more than 250 senior sustainability executives, 25 expert speakers and four executive workshops, the event will provide a platform for leaders to share practical solutions and strategies for accelerating progress towards net zero.
Why attend The Leadership Summit
Making its official debut during London Climate Action Week 2026, Sustainability LIVE @ London Climate Action Week – The Leadership Summit is designed to equip senior sustainability executives with the insights, connections and solutions needed to navigate a rapidly changing sustainability landscape.
The one-day conference will bring together leaders from across industries to discuss the most pressing challenges and opportunities shaping the future of business, including climate action, water stewardship, sustainable supply chains, biodiversity, AI and ESG governance.
Through a programme of expert-led discussions, executive workshops and networking opportunities, attendees will gain practical guidance on embedding sustainability across operations, supply chains and investment decisions.
As organisations work to balance environmental responsibility with growth, resilience and stakeholder expectations, the event aims to provide a forum where sustainability leaders can learn from peers, exchange ideas and accelerate meaningful action towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.
The Water Positivity Forum
Water security is emerging as one of the most significant sustainability challenges facing businesses and communities worldwide.
More than two billion people lack access to safe water and 3.4 billion people lack access to safe sanitation, highlighting the urgent need for collective action.
The Water Positivity Forum will explore how organisations can contribute to the sustainable management, restoration and protection of water resources while reducing operational risks and strengthening long-term resilience.
Speakers include:
- Isabelle Spiegel, Vice-President, Environment, VINCI
- Dr Alan Knight, Chief Sustainability Officer, WE Soda
- Mai-Lan Ha, Director of Private Sector Policy and Advocacy, WaterAid
- Erin Augustine, Vice President, Global Sustainability, Oatly
- David Moore, ESG Director, The Compleat Food Group
- Darshana Myronidis, Global Sustainability Leader,
The discussion will focus on the growing concept of water positivity, which seeks to ensure that organisations conserve, replenish or restore more water than they consume.
Topics are expected to include reducing water consumption, improving water quality, enhancing water availability and investing in ecosystem restoration.
The panel will also examine how businesses are collaborating across industries to tackle water scarcity, drawing on examples such as Water.org's Get Blue initiative, which brings together companies including Amazon, Starbucks, Gap and Ecolab to expand access to safe water and sanitation.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into how innovative technologies, water replenishment projects and cross-sector partnerships can help organisations safeguard water resources while delivering positive environmental and social outcomes.
The Future of Sustainable Supply Chains
As climate risks, regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations continue to evolve, sustainable supply chains are becoming essential to achieving meaningful sustainability outcomes.
The Future of Sustainable Supply Chains panel will explore how organisations can improve transparency, strengthen supplier engagement and reduce environmental impacts across increasingly complex global value chains.
The session will feature:
- Øistein Jensen, Chief Sustainability Officer at Odfjell SE
- Katherine Pickus, Chief Sustainability Officer, ADM
- Fiona Messent, Chief Sustainability Officer, Qantas
- Anna Richardson, Global Head of Supply Chain Sustainability & Diversity, HSBC
- Amanda Martins, Head of Sustainabilitym Atlassian Williams Racing.
Together, the panellists will examine how sustainability can be embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing raw materials and manufacturing to transportation, distribution and post-consumer recovery.
Discussions are expected to cover sustainable shipping, responsible sourcing, ethical labour practices, supplier engagement programmes, traceability systems and the role of science-based targets in driving progress.
Drawing on their organisations' experiences, the speakers will highlight how sustainable fuels, regenerative agriculture, energy efficiency, transparent reporting and supplier collaboration can reduce environmental impacts while improving resilience and profitability.
As consumers increasingly favour brands with strong ESG credentials and regulators demand greater accountability, the session will provide practical guidance for organisations looking to future-proof their supply chains and create long-term value.
