On 12 November, Sustainability LIVE will continue to expand its global event series and host Sustainability LIVE: Diversity & Inclusion.

This virtual event will explore the vital relationship between sustainable development and diversity and inclusion and equip attendees with the knowledge they need to craft a better tomorrow.

Throughout the day, those who attend will have the unique opportunity to hear a range of keynote presentations and panel discussions from industry executives from global companies such as SGS Group, the Centre for Big Synergy and Rakuten TV.

Julie Folmer-Neimann, Head of DE&I at Carlsberg

Julie Folmer-Neimann is the Head of DE&I at Carlsberg. In her role, Julie aims to drive meaningful change for the company internationally.

Previously in her career, Julie held a Nordic role as an Employee Experience Manager an strived to discover how the distribution of inclusion and equity could be improved within the customers organisations.

As a result of this, Julie enhanced her involvement in Global Employee Resource Group (ERG) work and conducted greater self-directed learning through training, webinars, reading and research.

At Sustainability LIVE: Diversity & Inclusion, Julie will deliver an engaging keynote presentation that will explore how Carlsberg has developed a detailed DE&I guidebook that supports a culture of inclusion, compassion and equity.​​​​​​​

Liesbeth Oost, Head of ESG at JVH Gaming & Entertainment

Liesbeth Oost is the Head of ESG for an online brand and commercial market leader that runs 87 land-based arcades and casinos across the Netherlands - JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group. 

She is committed to ensuring that sustainability lies at the core of the organisation’s activities and manages the development and implementation of the ESG strategy within the company, with a specific focus on responsible gaming. 

Before focusing her career on ESG, Liesbeth worked a number of roles at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Javier López Gómez, Global Head of Corporate Sustainability at SGS

With more than 15 years of international experience in sustainability and climate change fields, Javier López Gómez is the Global Head of Corporate Sustainability at the world’s leading certification, inspection and testing company - SGS. By managing the execution of SGS Group’s sustainability strategy, Javier aims to positively impact the organisation. 

Prior to this, Javier managed the ESG Consulting portfolio services at SGS Spain. 

Over the course of his career, Javier has acquired an abundance of leadership experience in directing cross-functional teams and multi-cultural projects.

Stuart Branch, Executive Board Director at The Weetabix Food Company

With more than 10 years of experience in business, Stuart Branch is the Executive Board Director at The Weetabix Food Company. Through this, Stuart manages the effectiveness and organisation of systems, technology, people, culture and performance of the company. He strives to ensure that Weetabix can look after the environment and community whilst also being a safe and effective place to work.

Before joining Weetabix, Stuart worked at Masco Corporation as both the European HR and Customer Services Director.

Sanjay Lobo MBE, CEO of OnHand

Sanjay Lobo is the Founder and CEO of OnHand, an award-winning international platform that strives to make doing good accessible and easy. The organisations aims to motivate employees to get involved in environmental and social impact through on-demand, flexible sustainability and volunteering actions. 

Sanjay is passionate about discovering how technology can be utilised as a force for sustainability, inclusion and real change. Throughout his career, he has continued to showcase how technology can create opportunities for many groups and catalyse social good at scale.

Taylor Amerman, Director of Social Impact at CDW

Taylor Amerman is the Director of Social Impact at CDW where she leads the organisation’s Global Social Impact team and strives to engage nonprofit partners and employees to support education initiatives and access to technology.

CDW is an international provider of technology services and products and aims to ensure that everyone can utilise the possibilities of technology.

Before joining CDW, Taylor managed the Alcohol Responsibility efforts for Brown-Forman and endeavored to craft a responsible drinking culture.

Ainur Amanzholova, Head of Talent, Culture & Inclusion at BAT Kazakhstan

With more than 19 years of experience in strategic management, HRM strategy and organisational effectiveness, Ainur Amanzholova is the Head of Talent, Culture & Inclusion at BAT Kazakhstan.

Peter Mouseriadis, CEO & Founder of Cultural Infusion

Peter Mousaferiadis is the CEO of Cultural Infusion, a cultural enterprise founded in 2002.

Delivering programmes to over 350,000 students a year, Cultural Infusion creates intercultural action in the arts, education and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). 

In 2019, the enterprise launched its holistic data and equity SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) tool, Diversity Atlas. The SaaS now has clients globally, including think tanks and multinationals.

Tanya Morton, Global Director of Customer Success Engineering for MathWorks

Dr. Tanya Morton is the global director of customer success engineering for the producers of MATLAB and Simulink - MathWorks.

Over 29 years, including four years as an operations leader at a technology start-up and 19 years in customer-facing roles at MathWorks, Tanya has worked as the heart of science, engineering and innovation.

Adam Karnama, CEO of Spritju

Adam Karnama is the CEO of Spritju.

Spritju is a tech company that focuses on energy traceability. In the organisation, Adam guides future leaders on sustainable business practices. 

He is also a passionate advocate for underrepresented communities in climate tech and empowers them to discover opportunities, education and career advancement. 

Adam has worked for a number of technology companies over the course of his career, including Ericsson, Cognizant and Accenture. In these roles, he developed his reputation for implementing eco-conscious, scalable solutions and spearheading sustainability initiatives.

Rosanna Duncan, Former Chief Diversity Officer at Palladium

Rosanna Duncan is an independent consultant and a Non-Executive Director at The Busy Group UK.

She has been instrumental in integrating diversity and inclusion standards into Europe’s largest infrastructure project, High Speed Rail (HS2) Ltd.

Throughout her career, she has acquired over 25 years of experience across many industries, including eight years as Global Sustainable Business Lead and Chief Diversity Officer at Palladium.

At Palladium, Rosanna was at the forefront of EDI and sustainability initiatives across over 90 countries.

She also holds a PhD that focuses on EDI in the construction industry and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Aliza Ayaz, Senior Consultant at TORI Global

Aliza Ayaz is a Senior Consultant at TORI Global and is also the Founder of the Climate Action Society (CAS) - a nonprofit organisation that strives to motivate students to become advocates for stronger environmental policies and leaders in climate education.

CAS aims to catalyse greater policy change, climate literacy and sustainable practices worldwide by mobilising young voices.

Since founding the organisation, Aliza has supported CAS to grow into an influential network of students who implement educational workshops, programs and campaigns to raise awareness about climate change and pressing environmental issues. 

Aliza strives to ensure that CAS can inspire the next generation to take ownership of climate action and utilise education as a powerful tool for change.

CAS equips students with the platforms and tools they need to make impactful contributions to climate change by interacting with institutions, communities and policymakers. 

At the forefront of CAS, Aliza continues to craft an international movement that enhances resilience against climate challenges and champions environmental sustainability.
