Two Speakers Join Sustainability LIVE: Net Zero 2025

Sustainability LIVE: Net Zero will arrive at the QEII Centre on 5 and 6 March 2025 for a two-day, hybrid event that will explore how we can embark on the route to a carbon-neutral world.
Across the two days, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry experts, start-ups and executives who are shaping sustainability policies and corporate net zero strategies.
Sustainability LIVE: Net Zero will also be co-located with Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE: Sustainability, allowing attendees to adopt a holistic approach to sustainability and net zero and access a comprehensive discussion on ESG compliance, carbon reduction and ethical sourcing across industries.

Rhian Kelly, Chief Sustainability Officer at the National Grid
Rhian Kelly oversees the entirety of the National Grid’s sustainability activities at its Chief Sustainability Officer.
She invests in the communities National Grid serves, sets strategic objectives around reducing emissions and creates internal alignment and external understanding of what National Grid is doing.
Rhian has held several roles since joining the National Grid in 2017, including being the lead of its UK and EU Public Affairs and Policy team, Head of UK Corporate Affairs and the Head of NGV Corporate Affairs.
Before joining the National Grid, Rhian helped deliver CBO deliver its report on climate change in 2007 as its Director of Infrastructure.
She has also worked for the EU Chamber of Commerce and spent time in Taiwan and Beijing during her time there.

At Sustainability LIVE: Net Zero 2025, Rhian will feature on our Future of Energy Transition panel alongside Emma Guthrie, CEO of The Hydrogen Energy Association and Dirk Idenstein, Managing Director of Enel X Europe.
This panel discussion will highlight the importance of the future of the energy transition has in propelling the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy, mitigating climate change and reducing carbon emissions.

Toby May, Head of Sustainability Integration at Zurich Insurance Group
Toby May is the Head of Sustainability Integration at Zurich Insurance Group.
In this role, he focuses on supporting business units globally, embedding sustainability into the business and leading updates to Zurich’s net zero transition and strategic sustainability framework.
Toby has gained a wealth of experience in life insurance, strategy, finance and sustainability in roles across Asia and Europe during his 20 year career at Zurich.
At Sustainability LIVE: Net Zero, Toby will feature on the Finance & Stakeholder Engagement panel alongside Jane Thostrup Jagd, Director of Net Zero Finance at We Mean Business Coalition, Saffron Gilbert-Kaluba, UN Net Zero Capital Fund Ambassador and Ben Stone, Group Head of Environmental Sustainability at Kier Group.
This panel discussion will highlight how finance and stakeholder engagement can ensure long-term financial viability, align business strategies with environmental and social goals and drive investment in green initiatives.
